Details of our Fletcher's Game Evening on the 13th and 14th November 2024.
As part of our drive to become more sustainable at Fletchers, and the wider college, we are collaborating with the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC), who will be kindly supporting our students through education and training in the preparation of wild game for our special menu on 13th and 14th November.
Murray Woodward from the BASC (central) will be very kindly supplying all of the locally sourced game for the menu and hosting the evening to help highlight and raise awareness around the positive health and sustainability impacts of choosing wild game in our diets.
The BASC is a registered society under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014, whose mission is to promote and protect sporting shooting and the well-being of the countryside throughout the United Kingdom and overseas.
